Grandma Illustration

I Did an illustration of my grandmother for the holidays to say thanks for her christmas gift. I'm gonna send it to her in a card, as she lives 10 hours away...I'm not afraid of her seeing it before as she doesn't have a computer.

Locally Toronto Drawing Winner 02

This is the first drawing done for Locally Toronto (second winner, but first claimed winner--it's hit in miss messaging people through FB), every month I give away a drawing to a lucky 'Liker' of the Facebook page. This particular winner is Foti, he co-owns Eye Candy Opticians, which is in the Beaches, Toronto.

Twin Peaks Diner

I've been thinking a lot about Twin Peaks recently, and since I've been doing mostly illustrations on my other blog I haven't taken too much time to work on passion projects. So I wanted to show my love for the show that was cancelled way to soon. I did the illustration in the same vein as my Looper piece.

You can purchase prints/iPod skins/mugs/etc. of this artwork here!

Drawing Challenge Random Days 1-8

I'm trying to force myself to do a drawing challenge right now for a month, I miss some days but I try to make up for it the next day. The challenge is to draw one thing every day from a given list. I want to keep the style clean and consistent through out so it will look like a complete package. This isn't all of them that I've done so far, but just a preview before I post them all at the end of the challenge.

Day 01 (yourself: Me)
Day 02 (celebrity crush: Scarlett Johansen)
Day 03 (a friend: Graham)
Day 04 (an animal you think is cute: Basset Hound)
Day 06 (something you've never drawn before: a swiffer haha ...low on ideas)

Day 08 (something with your favourite colour: blue whale)

The whole list to come soon! Stay tuned

How To Train Your Dragon - Design

We had to design our own Dragon to fit into the how to train your Dragon universe, this is my attempt. All in all I think he was successful, we only had a week to do him, when compared to the three weeks we had for Where the Wild Things Are , Carol.

Carol - Where the Wild Things Are Render Progression

I Spent way to long on this project, it went on for three weeks in my lighting
and sculpting class. We had to design a version of Carol from where the wild things are.

This is my final render on the third week:

This is my more cartoony render from the second week.

And this last little beast is from the first week...it's pretty bad haha, but I like looking at
the progress from this to my most recent.

Looper Diner Scene

This is an art piece I did of the movie Looper, I've been really into it recently...I might of watched it
five times in the last month. I just felt like painting characters in a different way and trying some new
techniques on the backgrounds.

Prints are available here: http://society6.com/AaronLecours/Looper-Diner-Scene
